Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 23, 2026

This policy explains how Synergistic Productions Inc., doing business as NutriSavvy (“NutriSavvy,” “we,” “us”), handles consumer health data on benutrisavvy.com. It is written for the Washington My Health My Data Act and Nevada’s consumer health data law, and it applies to everyone whose health data we hold, wherever they live. Our Privacy Policy covers all other personal information.

1. Health data we collect

We collect health data only when a member saves family details in My Family, and only after the member agrees to it. For each person the member adds, we may store:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding status (asked only for women and girls of childbearing age)
  • Food allergies and other foods the person avoids
  • the nickname, age group, and sex saved with those details
  • the nutrient needs we calculate for each person from the details above
  • the date the member gave consent

We do not collect medical records, diagnoses, weight, or other health measurements. What visitors type into our calculators without saving it to My Family stays in their browser and is never sent to us.

2. Where it comes from

  • From you: a member enters it in My Family.
  • From our calculators: the nutrient needs we calculate from what the member entered.

We do not get health data from any other company or source.

3. Why we collect it and how we use it

We use health data only to provide the member features you ask for:

  • filling in each family member in our food and nutrient calculators, so you don’t have to re-enter them
  • showing the nutrient needs and nutrition values for each person’s portion, including during pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • keeping each person’s allergies and foods to avoid with their profile, so member features can take them into account

We do not sell health data, use it for advertising, or use it to make decisions about you. If we ever want to use it for a purpose not listed here, we will ask for your consent first.

4. Who receives it

We do not sell health data or share it with other companies for their own use. No affiliate of ours receives it.

Health data is stored in our website’s database, which is kept by our website hosting provider. The hosting provider acts as our processor: it may only store and protect the data on our instructions and may not use it for anything else. All the categories in section 1 are stored this way.

We would disclose health data to anyone else only if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid court order.

5. Tracking by other companies

We do not allow other companies to collect health data about you through our website, or to follow your activity across other websites. We don’t use advertising trackers. Google Analytics runs only if you allow it in our cookie banner, and it does not run on member pages. We do not use geofencing.

6. Your rights and how to use them

You have the right to:

  • Confirm and access: know whether we hold health data about you, get a copy of it, and get a list of every third party and affiliate that has received it, with their contact details
  • Correct: change or update it
  • Delete: have it deleted
  • Withdraw consent: stop us from collecting or using it

Using these rights is free, and we will never treat you differently for using them.

How to use them

  • Change or delete family details: edit or delete any person in My Family, or choose Delete all family details. Deleting all family details also withdraws your consent.
  • Close your account: choose Delete my account and data on the Members page. This deletes your account and everything saved in it.
  • Anything else, including a copy of your data: email privacy@benutrisavvy.com. A member can also make a request about a family member they added.

We verify requests by checking that they come from the email address on the account, and we may ask for more information if we need it. You may also use an authorized agent.

Timing. We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you within those 45 days and take no more than 45 days more. Deletions are carried out within 30 days of verifying your request, and we tell our hosting provider to delete the data too. Copies held in backups are deleted as the backups are replaced, and they are never restored for use.

Appeals. If we turn down your request, you can appeal by emailing privacy@benutrisavvy.com with “Appeal” in the subject line. We will reply within 45 days and explain our decision. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the attorney general of your state, such as the Washington State Attorney General or the Nevada Attorney General.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make an important change to this policy, we will post it here with a new effective date and email members before it takes effect. We will ask for your consent again before collecting new kinds of health data, using it for new purposes, or sharing it with new recipients.
